I had the same probem with Win95 installation of 4.02 Prof. I solved it by
manually registering dll with Regsvr32.exe (in Windows\System ). This fixed
it.
I also had problems with page faults in vcl40.bpl that i could only fix by
reinstalling. I also had problems with fast ALT TAB task switching which I
solved by reinstalling - I have now owned 4.02 for about 4 weeks and done
about three days work &^!$(*&()@!*&$#(_*() .....
