Just out of curiosity.
Having watched industry for several years I still cannot grasp one thing.
How come that, being such a wonderful database, IB is never ever listed in
DB products reviews or anything like that. It is always Oracle,MS,Informix
and Sybase people are speaking about. The only place you can hear about IB
is Borland user groups/lists.
Delphi came out when there was VB,C++,Gupta,PowerBuilder etc. And being a
great product, it had taken one of the leading places in development tools
area, having moved others slightly out of the way.
Why is it so persistently not happening with IB ? Year by year people just
do not start raving about it ? Are they all blind ?
