Suggestion for Delphi 5.x.  Make the BDE & Paradox/Dbase legacy support
only and  have Delphi DB access primarily ADO/IBObjects with a free 5
user Interbase.

Would work for me, especially as you can deploy Interbase on a cheap
Linux server or scale up IB on to a big Sun box - one big advantage over
MSSQL 7
