Um, OK, the book is "About Face - the Essentials of user interface
design" by Alan Cooper, and it should be a standard book on every
developer's shelf, along with "Design Patterns" the the GOF amongst
others.
Alan Cooper's new book "the inmates are running the asylum - why high
tech products drive us crazy and how to restore the sanity" (I got mine
from techbooks - hardback for about $30 or $40) is DEFINATLY worth a
read.
