Well, I popped out of the 'system' about 2-3 years ago, and we did ASM
in one paper - VAX it was, and the assignments to so trivial, it was not
funny. There again, I already new 80x86 ASM at the time.....
I think what was missing from my uni was practical experience - which
was actually fine for me (I started contracting in 1st year), but all
but about 5 of the people I went thru the BTech with (about 40 of us)
had NO experience what so ever. I think thats more of a problem than not
knowing ASM :)
Tho ASM is funkey sometimes :)
