I have used Delphi 5 Professional for 1 day and have had over 15 access
violations.
I have had Delphi 5 die in a heap about 6 times.
Most of these are related to components, and doing things with components I
should not.
But it appears to be just like D4 with AV's all over the place.
I will have to see how the next week goes to see if the problems get less or
more frequent.
Is Delphi 5 Patch #1 released yet?
The latest is I get an access violation after clicking Edit on a package so
i can recompile it.
This occurs every time, even after exiting the IDE and reloading so
basically that package is no longer usable.
