Ponder over this:
The Corel / Inprise merger is off. M$ BUYS Inprise. Delphi is renamed to
VB! We all start to write code like MyHeader!Items["Header
Caption"].Caption! Disgruntled employees then leave to form a company to
write Kylix (or some other cough mixture name). M$ sues them for $$$. Then
M$ gets split up!!!
Seriously, I don't really care either way. Is Kylix really going to take
off or is it going to be eclipsed by Java? Is that the right direction for
Inprise? Inprise should look at its past; Delphi is a great tool (heaps
better than VB), yet there are more VB developers out there. One has to ask
why?
