Wrong comparision, you want to comparte gcc with dcc, or D5 with say
KDevelop or KDEStudio (of which being C/C++ development environments you
should really compare against C++ Builder). The other side is D5 includes
the VCL, whereas gcc is -just- the compiling, weather you use gtk-- or
wxGTK, vdk or some other component library is up to you.
