I have a spare monitor at home. Might try bringing it in to work and trying the dual screen thing. How do I set this up (physically - i.e. cables) and s/w wise?

It was great during the America's Cup. I was the envy of all my colleagues with work on one monitor, and Virtual Spectator on the other. ;-)
Seriously, I do find it helps productivity, I'm doing a bit of porting to .NET at the minute, and I can have VS.NET open on one side, and my old app open in Delphi or VB (bleeuurrgh) on the other one.
Our IT department just happened to have some spare, so a few of us have two monitors in here now.
Cheers,
C.
