and XP should support multiple monitors straight away.
You'll
either need a video card with two outputs or two video cards. Apart from
that, don't think you need anything else.
Once
Windows finds your new video card (i.e. you've got the hardware installed), you
can use the Control Panel Display Settings Applet, Settings tab, to tell Windoze
to use both monitors.
That's
about it. Simple.
