Well actually I think that you both have a point. Oh and remember that there already is a Delphi Wiki out there in internet land (http://delphi.wikia.com/) JED is quite right, you pay premium dollars for a product like Delphi, it should indeed have a complete and functional help system, its to our shame and embarrassment that our help is currently in the state it is, it's a high priority for us that it's fixed and it will be. It is however only to be noted that a Wiki has the potential to be an incredible resource, Wikipedia apparently is now regarded as a better resource than Britannica or World Book, so I reckon a Delphi Wiki has the potential to be better than anything we could do...so it makes sense for us to be major contributors to a Delphi Wiki, and we will turn our attention to that no doubt, but first things first, we have a product to get out the door and a help system to fix. The argument is that people pay serious $$$ for these products. Why should they also have to write the help files for them. The "loyal" users tag eventually wears thin. _______________________________________________ NZ Borland Developers Group - Delphi mailing list Post: [email protected] Admin: http://delphi.org.nz/mailman/listinfo/delphi Unsubscribe: send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with Subject: unsubscribe _______________________________________________ NZ Borland Developers Group - Delphi mailing list Post: [email protected] Admin: http://delphi.org.nz/mailman/listinfo/delphi Unsubscribe: send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with Subject: unsubscribe
