Hi Mimi,

Here's a common use of specific reminder times for me:

I have choir rehearsal at 7:30 in Oakland. The last reasonable BART for
me to catch is at 6:55, I want a reminder to fire at 6:42 so I have
enough time to pack up and walk to the station.

Sincerely,
Jeffrey
