I think we've had a good discussion around this issue and have a
better design because of it. All in all, this is a relatively low-
stakes decision, so I propose we close on it now and go with the
following verbiage:
File>>
+ Import .ics calendar file...
+ Export .ics calendar file...
------
+ Export collections and settings...
+ Reload collections and settings...
I understand that there are still issues to be worked out:
+ Will users understand that accounts are included in settings?
+ Will users understanding that collections include items as well?
+ Will users understand that Reload will overwrite all of their files?
+ Will users understand these features are for migrating data between
different versions of Chandlers?
At this point, I think we've done enough design due diligence on the
list and we should wait for dogfood feedback to drive future iterations.
Unless there are other outstanding issues I have missed, I will log a
bug with this proposal.
