was there an offline icon next to your caldav account name in the sidebar?

it could be that ical queues up changes while you're offline. i've
never observed that. i've only observed offline changes fail.
correspondingly, when i'm online, i can watch changes being sent to
the server immediately after they're made in the ui.

quite possibly. i know they had caldav changes in the pipeline. i'll
get updated and see what happens.
