I don't have strong feelings either way on this, though I do think we have a pretty nice workflow for new users as it stands, and it would be a shame to sacrifice that. It also seems like a mistake not to link to the wiki somewhere on the front page. I'd be fine just adding a new link, but if there's consensus that that would put us over some usability line I'm fine with this proposal.

Documentation link should then obviously open a page that had prominent links for Get Started, Get Involved, end user and developer documentation.
