The amount of resources needed to reimplement Documents support inside
GNOME Documents for the 3 services that implemented it (Google, Windows
Live and OwnCloud) would be higher than the amount of work needed to
maintain that one toggle in GNOME Online Accounts and maintain GNOME
Documents on top of that.

Finding a way to have the Documents toggle be available to applications
but not visible to users "browsing" the Online Accounts section of the
Settings (or the equivalent page in the initial setup) would help a
lot, rather than removing integration points that are much harder for
applications to reimplement.
