GNOME community does not work this way. Governing/advisory board does 
not generally use overriding 'veto'.
That is development is not driven centrally.  It is generally debated on 
the mailing list, and either some general consensus came up before final 
recommendation is adopted. Only matters not reaching consensus which 
have the risks of dividing up the community is escalated to the board.
Very much like a family affairs :). That seems to be the way GNOME has 
worked over all these years.

What I am saying is that you should not be worry about the outcome that 
GNOME will be Linux only (not for now) anyway.
