I have only experienced this in Nautilus. I've also only heard people complaining about Nautilus. I use a fully updated 11.10, with Unity.
I haven't been able to reproduce it reliably, but it has happened several times. Though it doesn't prove anything, it's only happened when I've had many windows open, multitasking heavily with several workspaces and two screens. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/886057 Title: nautilus menu bar disappears Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Sometimes I can not access the menu bar.
