Hi Sigfried,
I'm not a dev but I've been following this a bit for my own interest and
I also offered to QA it.
We originally had a keyboard but the dictionary needed a bit of work,
mainly in performance. As you may already know a Japanese IME is a
difficult task!
As it wasn't a priority development was dropped, but I am very sure this
will be re-instigated soon.

Hi all,
I have received my geeksphone peak.
From
http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-controls-and-options-firefox-os#w_how-do-i-change-the-keyboard-feedback-and-layout
:
"Firefox OS is available in the following languages: Arabic, Deutch, Greek, English,
Espanol, Francais, Norsk, Italiano, Protugues (do Brasil), Russian, Turkish and
Japanese."
I only have these on the peak : arabic, english (US), español, français,
portuges (do Brasil), chinese.
With the following keyboard layout : english, english (dvorak), spanish,
portuguese brazillian, polish, other latin, cyrillic, arabic, hebrew, greek.
Version 1.0.1.0-prerelease, version 18.0.
I just found in the developer option some chinese keyboard, but no japanese.
Where can I find this layout ? How can I install it (if it exists somewhere) ?
Thanks !
Siegfried
