Just got my zte today and it was an "old" device and thanks to Gabriele
Svelto's post I applied the proper update. And guess what, as soon as I did
that the OS reported that there is no sd card available. Mac OS X also didn't
recognize the sd card and wanted to format it. After configuring udev on Linux
the card became available.

No, they should thank me for buying the device, it is their job to provide what
they say, a developer device and if there are problems it is their job to
provide updates. Forget about cwm, that was the best available at the time.

I will excuse you for calling my post a "rant". "Rants" like this started as
soon as zte open became available and they did help some of the customers,
those who could still salvage their device.

Otherwise, keep up the good work.
