If you don't mind flashing my branch, this is done, except for the part where deviceStorage doesn't think a FLAC file is music: <https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/pull/25904>. It also doesn't parse album art, but we don't do that for Ogg either (yet). Thanks for figuring out that we actually do support FLAC!
