just for my understanding : can we say that Firefox OS (ie the Music
app embedded in Firefox OS) supports FLAC since 2.1 ?
(or was it already possible in 2.0 ?)
From an end user point of view, is it that simple as reading the flac
files from your SD card or does that require to rename files in .mp3 ?
thanks !

If you don't mind flashing my branch, this is done, except for the part
where deviceStorage doesn't think a FLAC file is music:
<https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/pull/25904>. It also doesn't parse
album art, but we don't do that for Ogg either (yet).
Thanks for figuring out that we actually do support FLAC! I had no idea
the music app could decode a FLAC file.
