I'd love to know the click-through rate of that link, and subsequent
success rate of getting users to sign up.  Would we be totally out of
line to bounce it through a redirect on the accounts server so we can
measure how often users follow it?

Alternately, we could include a utm_campaign param in that link so that
growth team folks can tell us how it's doing.
