That's the reason why it's wise to port to ZF. Speaking from technical point of view - there is absolutly no reason to change anything. The oxid framework itself is well grown over the years, robust and fast. OXID users and partners know it already. Therefore I would never support any other framework besides ZF.
One other reason is that Zend themselves likes to publicize applications built on ZF. So if OXID ports to ZF, there is some "automatic marketing" that Zend will do on their behalf.
