I can't say anything about Agave as I never worked with it. I know
David Zülke and will meet him on friday over a few beers. Will ask
him about his opinion.
I would love to hear the results of this discussion. Could you post
it to the mailing list or alternatively to me offline?
So as promised I talked to David a bit. The short version is - that he
suggest to use Zend Framework. Agavi is not suitable for out-of-the-
box applications as it uses a heavy stack (symfony etc.) which simply
can't be installed and adapted to easily to the needs of thousands of
different customers.
His answer was exactly: "migrating to ZF should be a no-brainer for
oxid".
