Since Firefox OS is openly accessible to hardware vendors, wouldn't it be easy for them to override any decision made by Mozilla if they or their content partners would prefer it that way? Putting hardware tokens in the UA certainly seems like something Mozilla should dislike given earlier discussions on the UA contents. Maybe Mozilla should offer a credible alternative for the use cases you mention?
