Martijn, I reported the problem to McAfee. Note that they recently purchased that Fx extension from an MIT startup, and offer it for free via: http://www.siteadvisor.com/
So I re-installed it via that site, and now Gran Paradiso and Minefield treat it as incompatible and disable it automatically, whereas Fx versions through v2.0.0.10 keep it enabled. Do I correctly infer that Fx3 browsers will keep checking for a compatible version, install it, and leave it enabled, once McAfee makes a compatible version available?
