You're using the same profile for both Fx2 and trunk?  That's not that great an 
idea (e.g. you end up with history/bookmarks divergence).

At the very least we check for extension updates at startup.  I'm not sure how 
we go about doing that, though; we might only check AMO, or there might be a 
URL 
the extension can specify....
