[#7797] turned out to be a non-issue. I did set up ./runtests.py always use 2 procs at least, to avoid deadlocks on single proc hosts. I don't see any reason why not make a release now, so I'm getting that ready. We've got a HUGE changelog :) I'll send out the VOTE and DISCUSS threads tomorrow hopefully.
