Well, I would. I do not use an IDE for my work, since I do not do any
programming. I use Doors.
But I understand a pure analyst is a rare species ... ;-)
IMHO the great strength of ArgoUML is its great usability / ease of use, so
that it is the most easy tool to get started with drawing simple UML
diagrams, which will be exported into graphical format, and pasted into
Powerpoint or MSWord (or even Doors).
Many users that post something on the users list are absolute beginners with
UML. Even if they are programmers, then the first thing they need a UML tool
for is making that one simplifying diagram of that complex problem they have
at hand.
So, I hope that integration with an IDE would increase usability!
If we can obtain that, then I am in favour.
More and more my colleagues at work tell me that what they want is a
UML tool that is synchronised with the source code.
Is there any proof that this even works? I mean really usable?
Is such UML diagram better readable then the code itself? Or what else is
the advantage?
