Thanks to Bob Tarling for his insightful reply and Michiel van der Wulp. I agree and perhaps repeat 1. Issue a current or retrospective release as ArgoUML 1.00 as the final release for UML 1. 2. Agree on a feature set for another release ArgoUML 2.00 for UML 2.
Much work could be accomplished through releases from 2.00 to 2.99 before UML 3 is released. To me, for historic purposes, this makes sense today and will hopefully make sense to others 15 years from now. Comments welcome.
