Thanks to Bob Tarling for his insightful reply and Michiel van der Wulp.

I agree and perhaps repeat
1. Issue a current or retrospective release as ArgoUML 1.00 as the final 
release for UML 1.
2. Agree on a feature set for another release ArgoUML 2.00 for UML 2.

Much work could be accomplished through releases from 2.00 to 2.99 before 
UML 3 is released.

To me, for historic purposes, this makes sense today and will hopefully make 
sense to others 15 years from now.

If I were to choose an option I would lean towards Michiel rather than

If we are ignoring our own internal interface issues then we should
have branded ourselves as 1.0 long ago so why should we now wait.
