So to answer Stephen's question: there is nothing stopping Avalon from continuing development of ECM/Fortress adaptors/migration tools for Merlin.
Why would there be? If this is how Avalon chooses to support those users, then who are we to stop you?
Some members of the "BOP" might be interested in assisting, but that is left to them individually and not the purpose of their collective efforts expressed in the proposal.
