He didn't.  If anyone did, I did.

If you want to discuss something with Excalibur, please do so over there.  I
was simply trying to inform you that Berin's mention of forking framework
was not some crazy idea of his own but that several excalibur members have
mentioned it, often in IRC/ICQ discussions.  However, we would all much
rather work with the Avalon community than pursue a fork, thus there have
not been any public conversations on the excalibur mailing lists.

However, if the current attribute persists, I probably will recommend to
Excalibur to fork framework.
