If you want to discuss something with Excalibur, please do so over there. I was simply trying to inform you that Berin's mention of forking framework was not some crazy idea of his own but that several excalibur members have mentioned it, often in IRC/ICQ discussions. However, we would all much rather work with the Avalon community than pursue a fork, thus there have not been any public conversations on the excalibur mailing lists.
Hence there is no Excalibur position and all references to the intend of Excalibur related to forking X or Y is basically grandstanding. I'm so glad we cleared that one up.
