I second Niclas as the chair of this new Merlin TLP.
I have decided to accept the nomination, especially since the whole group supports it. However, I will respect the Board if they don't consider me qualified and appoint someone else.
I would like to highlight;
1. I will work out with the team a new name, where the ropes with Athurian legacy is cut. We'll try to come up with one or more proposals this week.
2. We will need to formulate a "Mission Statement" that is strong, unambiguous and captures the spirit of what Merlin has been all about. I would like to see this being brainstormed in an IRC session.
3. I invite non-Merlin-Avaloners (what a term), who think they can bring "community building" qualities to the project, to join as committers and PMC members.
4. I will spend enough time this week to get the 'paper-work' in order and put it up for review.

I stated a preference for Aaron, but my real preference goes toward anything that generates consensus in the community.
