Sorry I haven't been around much this last week. I've got a mountain of email to catch up on now that things have settled down a bit.
I've always been +1 for a Merlin TLP. I raised the issue with the PMC a long time ago. I supported it the first time and I'll support the proposal again.
My only question is about the role of the Avalon project post-Merlin TLP. I have a couple of thoughts and ideas about this but I'm going to read up on the replies over the last week before I comment much on anything. Last I read was Stefano's email on the "failure" of Avalon and I know there's been some discussion since then.
Anyway, let's get this moving. I mentioned on the PMC list that perhaps an IRC meeting would help speed things up. Good idea? Bad idea? WDYT?
