i have it working nicely. code looks good with good tests, and all passing
now!
somewhat concerned that we still have `SoftwareProcessImpl.callRebindHooks`
-- but `AbstractEntity.FeedSupport.addFeed` has the rough check to preventing
the same sensor feed being added twice so it should be okay most of the time.
going to merge on the basis that it's better than it was. but @aledsage
