ARCHIVAL NOTE ONLY as at 8 weeks since inception of this proposal --

Prototyping of a wo...@a.o is commencing care of the email address and
infrastructure of wo...@aporia-works.org by way of an instantiation of
womAn@<any>.<organisation>, of which a wo...@apache.org may - or may not -
become a next in due course.

For the purposes of prototyping, possibly relevant instances of the
following terms may be flagged for further reflection during the ordinary
course of both online and offline interaction across all communities within
which wo...@aporia-works.org endeavours to participate:

(a) "openess" to "open community"
(b) "consent" during "consensus process"
(c) "meriting" of "meritocracy"

In particular, with regards possible issues of gender balancing,
wo...@aporia-works.org will begin by proptotyping a variation of the
Imitation Game introduced during Alan Turing's seminal paper on "Computing
Machinery and Intelligence" [1]

In due homage, and on occassion of the 60th anniversary of its original
publication in October 1950, wo...@a.o returns to the game of whether or not
a man (A) can imitate a woman (B) enough to fool an interrogator (C) that A
is B, and therefore B must be A.

Note that this game may or may not be significantly different from the
Turing test of whether or not a machine can be substituted for A, and a man
for B, all other things being equal.

The email address and infrastructure of wo...@aporia-works.org will
therefore be populated by both one "man" (A) and/or one "woman" (B) for at
least one calendar month commencing 1 Oct 2010, if not for longer.

This prototyping exercise may or may not turn out to be relevant to the
flagging of possibly relevant instances of the terms (a), (b), and (c)
above.

For the purposes of cross-reaching between the communities within which
wo...@aporia-works.org is endeavouring to participate, this prototype will
begin by attempting to respond to the poll "Why Women Matter - Diversity
Summit" [2] with a view to cross-referencing this archival note - in situ -
accordingly.

At any event, here's kindly acknowledging all feedback and comments received
both publicly and privately to date, and looking forward to a next round -
whenever, whatever :-)
