1) Setting up the suff you need to be able to tunnel is really daunting. I am a technically proficient user and have been using Linux since my first computer (a 486 that ran Slackware). Learning FTP and SCP were trivial. They only took moments. Learning CVS was easy enough (when I worked with the Mono project). And yet, it took me weeks to manage to get a tunnel. So I guess it's not that simple after all. Imagine what it'd be like to someone who isn't as technically aware as I am. 2) You also implicitly assumed that the user has a Unix-like system, which many don't. Jean doesn't. Of course you can say "once you figure it out, it's pretty easy". But hell, you can say the same thing about Quantum Field Theory. Sure, I can easily figure out the number of zeros of f(z) = e^z + 3z inside the unit circle (where z is a complex number). It's *easy*. But only after you've learned enough complex analysis to understand Rouche's Theorem. > > Question: Can one setup SSH access? > > ? The tunnel is ssh.
