Referring to other documentation is a good sign that the procedure is complicated.
Not only that, but that's where I ran into trouble and gave up. The instructions in those documents appeared to ask me for information that I either did not have, or did not know I had.
Look, Jean and I have both said the instructions are daunting. Ian Lynch can't figure them out, after months of effort. Are you going to keep deying that there's a problem or are do you want people to contribute. If several competent and technically proficient users tell you that the instructions are incomprehensible, then they are. And no ammount of arguing from you will change that.

Please let Daniel have a go at rewriting the page completely, if he's still willing to do so.
Meanwhile, I'm looking at the FAQs that Diane referred me to, but they don't seem much more understandable to me... although some of the wording is improved (like saying that a "tunnel" is a connection -- such a simple addition, but so much more informative to the uninitiated).
