I'm still using Slackware :)
:-) Yay, someone is still using it. I haven't used Slackware in
years... many years. I ended up using one of its derivatives though
(openSUSE).
I probably will update the installation process for Slackware after
discussing it with Robby Workman, one of Slackware contributors about
what should be placed on the setup guide. He is the author of
SlackBuilds script for OpenOffice.org package
We've decided to move that chapter out of the setup guide and to this
place:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/FAQ/Installation/How_do_I_install_OpenOffice.org_on_Slackware%3F
This is to save room in the setup guide where only supported operating
systems and distributions are mentioned all other operating systems will
be placed on the wiki.
Please feel free to update it with any additions that you might have.
Very appreciated.
Definitely. Since Slackware uses a slightly less known install method
(compared to the "mainstream" Linux distributions), having the info on
the OOoWiki will help a lot.
