It should be possible since both use TeX markup, and the OOo markup is almost identical (with a few minor variations) with the Wiki Math markup. The export feature is part of the overall OOo package (ie not a separate extension) so.. a bug report in the Issue tracker is about the only way I know of to suggest the improvement.
