Cool thanks I appreciate you looking at this. I've started a proof of concept as well and hope to push it tomorrow for comment and review. Calling stop immediately does not work unfortunately. When the setup function runs it will push right through and set on to true no matter what. I was thinking of doing something with autostart. Do you think that makes sense? I mean what is autostart = false for if not to say, hey, I don't want userale sending logs? Alternatively, maybe we could have another variable on config called hardstop. That would be set in the stop function to true and it would be checked in the setup function. Start wood set hardstop to false. Just a thought.
