Well we have to deal with a new logo and website and various overhead regardless of whether the new project is FlexJS or Fubar. > > From: Alex Harui<mailto:aha...@adobe.com.INVALID> > Sent: Wednesday, September 13, 2017 6:33 PM > To: dev@flex.apache.org<mailto:dev@flex.apache.org> > Subject: Re: [DISCUSS] Name of the FlexJS Fork > > Actually, my question was whether the PROJECT name is more or less > important than the PRODUCT name. This analogy is more along the lines of Apache as Campbells/Clorox and Pepperidge Farm as Apache Flex and Campbells Soups as Apache HTTPD. Apache FlexJS could be gluten free diabetic bread by say Healthy Pepperidge Farm. Would Pepperidge Farm consumers be confused by the Brand change and wonder why? If we are trying to separate cleanly from Flex that argues for a new project name with Flex transferring the FlexJS product to the new project.
