You'll find on this issue a document written by the francophone
community about Chart module enhancements (translated in english)

We have tried to be as exhaustive as possible, reading the specs, search
for the corresponding issues and gathering all our users needs.
We have also checked the (large ;) cws chart2mst3 in EIS.
The goal of this document is to gather needed informations about the
charts module in order to know what is worked out so we can give a
detailed answer to our users.
But we would like to help also new developers to join the project. We
thought that it could give them an entry to the development work flow
and help to design what kind of work is needed
My questions are :
. is it useful for you ?
. could you comment on the state of the chart module (will there be part
of the implementation in the 2.0 branches or nothing before 3.0 for
example) ?
