Hi Leonard,
I noticed also point "6.m" - "Chart allowing to put geographical
data", and thought a good addition would be GRASS (see
http://grass.itc.it/intro/general.php and wikipedia,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GRASS_GIS).
Again, instead of reinventing the wheel, strong consideration should
be given to use the GRASS open source program for such maps.
By the way, is there any chart wiki-page, where one can write all
these feature requests in an ordered way? I did not find one. Of
course, I could submit some new features (as new issues), but it would
be more structured to have them written in wiki-style.
We have a Wiki page [1]. It would be nice if you would add a section
(maybe as new Section 3) for your suggestions. Thanks!
