Hi Armin,
I deleted some text to make the mail clearer.

Hi all,
I see severe performance problems in Draw.
In the spec I find "The option 'Modify objects with Attributes' will
by default be enabled. For Draw/Impress, the default for the button
will be enabled, too. In Draw/Impress, it is possible to switch on/off
that option using the button." But that button do not work, I can
click it, but it doesn't change it's state.
Just tried with a freshly installed DEV300 m39 wntmsci12.pro. The button
works as expected, i can switch off full drag without problem. Also
tried the Guides when moving, works in both modes as expected here.
I have deleted the user directory and let OOo generate a new one. Now
the button reacts and I can switch between the half-transparent and the
dashed border view of the rectangle. Unfortunately it does not change
anything on the performance problem. When I switch off the button, then
the dashed border or the guide lines repectively jump and smooth moving
with the arrow keys is still impossible.
I have tried also, setting SolidDragCreate to false, in Common.xcs. It
brought no improvement. Are there other places, which might prevent
that the setting works?
No. You used excatly the settings which allow switching off both
features. When both are switched off (also possible for each separately,
of course), all will behave exactly the same as in DEV300 m38. Which was
the last version You tired out? There was another big change in graphics
preparation in DEV300 m30. Do You compare with a version before that?
I have used version OOo 3.0 (which is m9 build 9358). There it works for me.
I've now tried also OOoDEVm37 and a self compiled m36. They have the
same performance problems.
More interesting is: What System are You running on? It should not
get that slow as You are describing. If it does, we need to look at
it and i hope for Your help giving Feedback to improve this.
So, what System are You running on?
WinXP SP3.
AMD Athlon XP 1.15GHz; 1.00GB RAM
NVIDIA Geforce3 Ti200
This should do it. I tried the changed OOo on various systems, including
a Fujitsu U1010 Lifebook (1.2 GHz Atom, 1 GB Memory, XP), with no problems.
And in OOo3.0 are non of this problems.
