Hi, I don't have a problem rendering Malayalam as such (since I hacked/fixed much of it), and the ICU shaping code is invoked properly ... but ... at times, the Malayalam is *not* shaped properly, even though the shaping code is being executed.
But, when I restart OOo and open the same document, I can see the correctly shaped characters. Anyone have any idea why this is happening ? One more clue: when the wrong shaping appears, the characters are rendered on screen in the logical order of the codepoints, i.e., just as if the characters are not shaped.
