For myself the compelling feature of 2.4 is the event MPM.
But it doesn't work on Windows (nor is there an alternative to thread-per-request processing there). And when HTTPS is used its still thread-per-request. And of course I need to know mod_jk works absolutely flawlessly with the event MPM too...
So in the end the even MPM is not all that compelling yet -- for me at least.
There are a few other features in 2.2 that'd be nice to have, but the big draw just isn't complete enough in scope.
