Martynas Jusevičius commented on JENA-909:
------------------------------------------
[~claude] [~rvesse] I'm trying to understand why Maven has to be involved in
building the Docker images?
Why not let Docker Hub do that job for us? It not only builds but also hosts
the images. Please see my reply to [~andy] above. That way POM requires no
changes.
As for which {{Dockerfile}} to use, I don't have a huge preference. Ours is
rather basic compared to Stian's. It's based on the example we discussed with
Andy on the mailing list:
[https://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/jena-users/201810.mbox/<[email protected]>|https://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/jena-users/201810.mbox/%[email protected]%3E]
I do think it would make sense to start with a minimal working image and then
add features organically as requested by users.
